Radiating Renfrow

Have you ever met someone and you're convinced that no one has ever said one bad thing about them ever. Everything about them radiates good. They're genuine, thoughtful, selfless, carefree, funny, beautiful...

World, meet Darcey.

Taylor met Darcey and her mom over vino at Trio Beer Wine and Cheese in Kitty Hawk, NC. Darcey and her fiancé were located in Richmond, VA and looking to host their wedding at the fabulous Jennette's Pier. After starting the initial planning process they realized they needed guidance and we became blessed (truly blessed) to take them on as one of our Coastyle couples. Shortly after planning the duo decided they were going to pack up their fur babies and not only only get married oceanside, but move here as well. Oh yeah, and start a business. Our kind of couple!

Honestly, we could go on for hours about these two and how happy we are that they decided to make their love and the island life official. They became so much more than clients to us over the process and it will be an honor to witness all the wonderful things in store for them.

Ross and Darcey were married on a rainy Friday in May in Nags Head, NC. With Plan B in full effect the ceremony was brought inside the pier house, with an acoustic cocktail hour, buffet dinner, and dancing to follow. Darcey dazzled all evening in a white jumpsuit, beside her maids in mismatched neutral hues. The room was filled with watercolor centerpieces adorned with coastal lanterns, Van Morrison lyrics in gold hand crafted calligraphy, lush greens, candles, and a hue of simplistic elegance. The after party continued at the locals favorite - Fish Heads Bar and Grill.

Darcey and Ross, thank you for proving to us that a sense of humor is in fact one of the most important love languages there is. The rain could have never dulled your joy to become husband and wife that day. Your vows said it all: "When frustration, difficulty, and fear assail your relationship, as they threaten all relationships at some point or another, remember to focus on what is right between you, not just the part that seems wrong. In this way, you can survive the times when clouds drift across the face of the sun in your lives, remembering that, just because you may lose sight of it for a moment, does not mean the sun has gone away."

We look forward to celebrating many more life adventures with you both.
